Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home for Tony Ray "Tony Brown" Deshields, Sr., 60 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at his residence.

Brother Gary Bridges will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Ora Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Andy Duckworth, David Kirkley, Buddy Miller, Joey Cross, Craig Miller, and Roman Shoemake.  Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Boom-Boom Room.

Mr. Deshields was born on July 15, 1958 in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He was a mechanic by trade, and also worked for Andy Duckworth Heating and Cooling in Collins.  Mr. Deshields was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raeford and Ruby Kimrey Deshields.

Survivors include his son, Tony Ray Deshields, Jr. of Petal; his mother, Sue Deshields of Collins; the mother of his son, Gail Deshields of Petal; two sisters, Sheila McCormick of Mobile, Alabama, and Beverly Heardon  of Vancleave; one, brother, Shan Barrett of Gastonia, North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.
