Waylon Blake McKinney, 20 days old of Purvis, Mississippi passed away to his heavenly home on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the USA Health Children`s and Women`s Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. He was born Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, MS, 39428. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Bullock Cemetery in Seminary, Mississippi.  Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-765-1010

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Michael Davenport and Charles Ray McKinney; great-grandmothers, Robin Kazier Trahan, Debra Norris Jackson, and Sandy Youngblood Tucker.

Survivors include his father, Carson McKinney of Seminary, MS; mother, Elise Trahan of Purvis, MS; grandparents, Tom Trahan, Jr. (Summer Clark Quartana) of Purvis, MS, Heidi Davenport Trahan of Purvis, MS, Greg McKinney and Jennifer Jackson McKinney of Seminary, MS; great-grandparents, Tom Trahan, Sr. of Purvis, MS, Patricia Werner Davenport of Purvis, MS, Marie Taormina McKinney of Seminary, MS, and Larry Jackson of Seminary, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tom Trahan Jr., and Greg McKinney.
