Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home for William Bryan Buckley, 58 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Reverend Randall Buckley and Reverend Johnny Williams will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Collins City Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Peggy Williams. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
The family will receive guests from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2026, and from 10:00 am to service time on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeram Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, MS. 39428.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Bryant, Miller Rhodes, II., Lee Speed, Billy Daniel Sr., Billy Daniel Jr., Arnold Buckley, and Ruston Hamilton.
Mr. Buckley was born on November 1, 1967, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Charles Patterson Buckley and Carolyn Sylvia Hamm Buckley, He was a graduate of the Collins High School Class of 1985 and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Mr. Buckley was a self-employed salesman by trade. He enjoyed all kinds of music, especially rock. Mr. Buckley was an animal lover and loved his cats. He was a laid-back kind of fellow that loved his hats and his Converse and Vans tennis shoes.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Alexander Gage Buckley; and his grandparents, Elmer and Dovie Hamm and J.E. and Mary C. Buckley.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years, Juanita Lee Bolware Buckley of Collins; his parents, Charles P. and Sylvia Hamm Buckley of Seminary; two stepdaughters, Shannon Roberts (Daniel) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Cindy Hamby of Ovett; six grandchildren, Dallas, Savannah, Britney, Ivie, Mercedes, and Isabelle; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Melanie Buckley Rhodes (Miller) of La Marque, Texas; and one niece, Dylan S. Rhodes; and a host of cousins and other family members.
