William Joseph Courtney

(January 7, 1973 – September 6, 2021)

Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Collins City Cemetery in Collins for William Joseph Courtney, 48 of Bassfield, who passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

William was a loving son and friend.  He enjoyed making knives, working as a gun smith, and spending time with his parents.  He will be greatly missed by his loving parents and friends.

Survivors include his loving parents, Earl Eugene Courtney and Valerie Jean Whitfield Courtney of Bassfield; and a host of other family members and friends (Cousin).
