A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Union South Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary for William Lawrence Trigg, 83 of Seminary, who passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Reverend Brenda Hatten McClendon will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Union South Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons, Timothy Trigg, Terry Trigg, Ron Tharp, Dalton Trigg, Colton Trigg, and Kendall Trigg.
Mr. Trigg was bon of June 16, 1937 in Seminary, Mississippi to William Arthur Trigg and Edith Martin Trigg. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Trigg was a retired farmer and had operated the family cattle business for many years. He was a member of the Union South Baptist Church in Seminary.
He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-two years, Esther Pierce Trigg; and his parents, William Arthur Trigg and Edith Martin Trigg.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy Trigg of Seminary and Terry Trigg (Ron Tharp) of Nashville; four grandchildren, Dalton Trigg (Amy) of Seminary, Colton Trigg of Marshalltown, Iowa, Savannah Trigg and Kendall Trigg, both of Seminary; one brother, Marson Trigg of Moselle; one sister, Elaine Hartfield (Thomas) of Dallas, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made via donation in his name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123.
