Willie Dean Hollingsworth Yawn
(December 2, 1943 - August 30, 2021)

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Willie Dean Hollingsworth Yawn, 77 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson.

Reverend Rudolph Sims will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Ora Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Bishop, Loren Butler, Paul Harvey, Zack Norris, Joseph King, and Zack Green.

Mrs. Yawn was born on December 2, 1943 in Magee, Mississippi to Fred and Willie Bell Rutland Hollingsworth. She was a loving wife, mother, memow, and sister. Mrs. Yawn retired as a quality control supervisor from Sanderson Farms after thirty years of service. She was a member of the Ora Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Yawn; her parents, Fred and Willie Bell Rutland Hollingsworth; a son, Don Yawn; a daughter, Angel Yawn; a special friend, Lester Ishee; a grandson, James Ramsey Bishop; and a granddaughter, Shaunna Buffington; one brother, Martin Hollingsworth; and three sisters, Audrey Rogers, Faye Sanders, and Rachel Ann Saulters.

Survivors include three daughters, Melinda Bishop (David Childress) of Brandon, Stephanie Yawn Newton of Seminary, and Jennifer Yawn Roberts (Michael) of Hector, Arkansas; four step children, Debra Yawn of Collins, Theresa Yawn of Louisville, Roger Yawn of Biloxi, and Jimmy Yawn of Magee; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Bettie Joyce Crumpton of Enterprise, Alabama; and a host of nieces and nephews.
